Major Guitar Acts Coming to the Triangle Area

The Triangle’s three major universities pay tribute to our beloved instrument this year.  Pepe Romero performs Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the North Carolina Symphony in at least 2 area performances this Fall.  Joaquin Rodrigo passed away this summer at age 97.  In Spring 2000 we will be able to hear two of the finest guitar ensembles within an eight day period: the Assad Duo, March 24, and the Los Angles Guitar Quartet, April 1st.

TGS will be buying a block of tickets for each event, saving you at least 20% off the ticket prices.  More on this next newsletter, but here are some details:
