|
Dear TGS Members,
The Triangle Guitar Society is inviting all TGS members to our annual Holiday Party and Recital on Saturday December 10 at 5:00 pm. We are very pleased to present this event at the lovely home of a TGS member.
We are proud to present as our feature soloist one of North Carolina School of the Arts finest guitar students, Ryan White. Ryan’s performance will be preceded by some festive Latin duets performed by Randy Reed and Dennis Aberle. As you can see from the following program, the recital features music from all over the globe.
The evening will feature dinner and fine wine. The music performances will start around 5:30, so please arrive early. Complete event details, including directions, will be sent to all members.
Our Treasurer, Donnie Stallings, will be manning a table in case anyone needs to renew their dues or would like to make a holiday tax deductible contribution.

BIOGRAPHY
Ryan White is currently in his fourth year studying with Gerald Klickstein at the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem, NC. While a student at NCSA, he has performed in recital in the Shallowford Presbyterian Church Concert Series in Lewisville, NC, and at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. He has also performed chamber music with vocalists Dawn Pierce and Leif Westermark, as well as with flautist Norman Gonzalez. Tonight’s program includes highlights from Ryan's Senior Recital, which he recently performed in Watson Hall at NCSA in partial fulfillment of his Bachelor of Music degree. After graduating this spring, Ryan plans to continue teaching guitar and pursuing a performance career, both solo and in collaboration with other art media, before attending graduate school.
